当我创作一幅真正伟大的画作时，我感到真实 When I make a really great painting, I feel real In a sense, science is like a mystery because it doesn't convince me of anything. I remember saying in my high school valedictorian, 'wisdom should make us certain; Art should make us wonder. When I am creating a really great painting, I feel real.
从某种意义上讲，科学就像神秘事物，因为它并不能使我确信任何东西。我记得在我的高中告别训辞中说过，‘智慧应当让我们确定；艺术应当让我们怀疑。’当我在创作一幅真正伟大的画作时，我会感到真实。
