2019年11月8日，林祥雄教授到北京大学会晤了北京大学艺术学院新一任书记雷红与彭峰院长，就新一届的艺术学院课程发展与向国际艺术领域交流与合作作了深入探讨，同时就拟在2022年与联合国教科文组织机构合作在北京筹办第三届《艺术为了和平论坛》相关工作作了建设性地交换意见。

　　2014年6月6日，林祥雄以首位海外艺术家被北京大学艺术学院荣聘为客座教授，斯时由艺术学院创院院长，著名哲学家与美学家叶朗教授亲自在北大百年讲坛颁发聘书。几年以来，双方合作紧密并为中西方艺术交流与在国际领域做出了贡献，故艺术学院新一届领导班子由雷红书记见证并由彭峰院长授颁续聘聘书予林祥雄教授。

　　8 Nov 2019, Prof Lin Xiang Xiong visited the new secretary of School of Arts Peking University-LEI Hong, and the Dean-PENG Feng, made in-depth discussion on the development of the new curriculum and cooperation in the international field. Both Parties plan to organized "The Third Arts for Peace Forum" in Beijing in cooperation with UNESCO in 2022.

　　On 6 Jun 2014, Prof Lin Xiang Xiong was appointed as a the first overseas visiting professor by School of Arts Peking University. The first Dean of School of Arts Peking University, also a famous philosopher, Prof YE Lang presented the appointment letter to Prof Lin at the Peking University Centennial Forum. In the past few years, both Parties has been cooperating closely and made contribution to the exchange of Chinese and Western arts in the international arena. Therefore, the new leader team of School of Arts Peking University awarded a renewed appointment to Prof Lin Xiang Xiong.
