  今天,我们在金宝汇共享艺术空间郑重推出“反兑水墨——邵岩当代艺术展”。之于四十年的实验水墨、新水墨的命名与探索,到了不是总结而是再出发的时候了。

  所谓“反兑水墨”,一言以蔽之,“反弹琵琶”,反观、往返,反怼,无论传统、现代,只要我们认为水墨艺术不是国有财产,水墨语言可以是人类通用语言,那么,像油画艺术一样,我们有责任有义务同样也有信心,给水墨艺术兑水兑墨,让它增量,让它扩张,让它冲破狭隘的私有化、民俗化、自我陶醉、不求上劲、夜郎自大、世代因袭的程式化习俗,以原创自由精神为旨归,开放水墨语言,创造水墨艺术存在意义的自尊、自在、自证生命的可能。

  邵岩是一位传统书法造诣极深的当代艺术家,从对传统书法一般认知理解上,邵岩早期就做到了一位成名书家的通用成就。但是之于“睁开双眼看世界”当代艺术家所必要的自觉,同样,邵岩反观审视水墨传统的同时,也在审视追问什么是水墨艺术当代性的问题。实际上,传统书法已经丧失了艺术语言的文人生活化传统与基础,书法对于书家而言,恰恰从语言上脱离了社会,与生活并不发生实质性联系,说是继承传统,不如说是趴在故纸堆上消费传统,浪费生命。传统总是为支持当下而在场。当书写作为艺术的存在失去原创精神的时候,艺术也就失去的灵魂,沦落为真正艺术家必须抛弃的普通语言。也许正是如此,邵岩从射墨行为书写出发,将传统书法的线条、节奏作为隐秘的支持线索,着力构造一种个体生命与水墨艺术表现更为自洽的属于他的射墨语言,呈现了一位个体艺术家的艺术行为和言说方式,开阔、好玩、魔性而神秘,既与传统保持了友好的合作关系,又做到了文脉一体。

  无疑,我们在邵岩的艺术作品中,看到了水墨越出日本新书写的经验文本,也是四十年画地为牢的实验场域,适时推出了个人体用水墨的系列艺术文本,我想,这是水墨再出发的可能,也是水墨指涉可观察世界的语言发现。水墨艺术,的确需要当代语言作为空间的基础,为时间做好话语的准备,如不其然,水墨失去的是在当下说话的能力。反兑水墨,嘿嘿,这很重要!

  邵岩在实践上有丰富的探索。他试图把现代书法转向抽象艺术的方向推进,他以自己的生命状态和对生活的理解,介入到每次创作并将他独有的书写方式,发展成一次水墨行为,最终把水墨行为痕迹与水的交融形成作品。

  Shao yan has rich exploration in practice. He tried to turn modern calligraphy into abstract art. With his own life state and understanding of life, he intervened in each creation and developed his unique writing style into an ink painting behavior, and finally integrated the traces of ink painting behavior with water to form a work.

  邵岩实际上走的是一条书画同源到书画同归的道路,是将书法介入到绘画上来。借用水的自然力把那一根线条,一根变化丰富的线条泼洒开来,演变成了一个画面。把水作为一个物质发挥到了一个更加重要的地步,我觉得这是他的一个贡献。

  Today,we solemnly launch "anti-ink-wash -- contemporary art exhibition of shao yan" in jinbaohui Shared art space. For the 40 years of experimental ink and new ink naming and exploration,not to summarize but to start again.

  Against the so-called "ink painting", in a word,"rebound pipa", by contrast, a round trip, anti Dui,regardless of the traditional and modern, as long as we don't think ink painting is state-owned property, ink painting language can be a human universal language, so, like the oil painting art, we have a responsibility to have a duty to also have the confidence, to water ink art against the ink, make it incremental, let it expand, let it break through the narrow privatization, folk custom, the narcissism, not pull, arrogance, from generation to generation the conventionality of stylized conventions, for the purpose, in the spirit of original free open ink painting language, create ink painting sense of self-esteem, comfortable, since the possibility of the life.

  Shao yan is a contemporary artist with profound attainments in traditional calligraphy. But it is necessary for contemporary artists to "open their eyes to the world". Similarly, while reviewing the tradition of ink painting, shao yan also examines and asks what is the contemporary nature of ink painting. As a matter of fact, traditional calligraphy has lost the literati's life-style tradition and foundation of artistic language. For calligraphers, calligraphy is just separated from the society in language and has no substantial connection with life. Instead of inheriting the tradition, it is better to waste one's life by consuming the tradition on the old paper pile. Tradition is always present to support the present. When the existence of writing as art loses its original spirit, art loses its soul and becomes a common language that real artists must abandon. Perhaps so, Shao Yan from shoot ink writing behavior, the traditional calligraphy as a hidden clues to support line, rhythm, strive to construct a kind of individual life and ink painting performance more self-consistent belongs to his shot ink language, presents an individual artist's behavior and way of expression of art, open,fun, mysterious and devious looking, both keep a friendly relations of cooperation, with the traditional context did it again.

  Undoubtedly, in shao yan's works of art, we have seen the experience text of ink painting that goes beyond the new Japanese writing, which is also the experimental field of forty years of painting, and timely launched a series of art text of ink painting for human body. I think this is the possibility of starting from ink painting, and also the language discovery of ink painting referring to the observable world. Ink painting art indeed needs contemporary language as the foundation of space and to prepare for time to speak. Otherwise, ink painting loses the ability to speak in the present. Anti ink, hey hey, this is very important!

  1962年生,文化部国家画院研究员,中国书法家协会新文艺家群体工作部委员,文化部中国社会艺术协会中西方美术研究院研究员,中国民主促进会会员,中国汉字艺术中心主任,中国陶瓷艺术研究院副院长,景德镇陶瓷中外艺术家协会艺术总监,文化部青联书法篆刻委员会副秘书长,清华大学当代艺术专业特聘专家,中央美术学院、荣宝斋画院外聘教授、民进中央开明画院副秘书长,中国现代书法代表,30年历届国展现代书法大奖获得者,参加国内外重大展览80余次,出版专着十几本。作品被大英博物馆、美国《时代周刊》、华尔街日报社,意大利银行集团、香港艺术馆、中国美术馆、等国际重要机构收藏,独立汉字、水墨、陶瓷艺术家,现居北京。
